Custom Homes and New Construction

New houses and commercial buildings, run from the permit to the finishing details

Residential Construction and commercial builds managed by one licensed General Contractor: building permits, blueprints, site management and regular updates, across Stockton, Sacramento and Tracy.

Chapter 01

A new build starts on paper, and the paper decides the budget

Most of what makes a new build go well is decided before a shovel moves. The plans have to be drawn, the structure has to be engineered, and the site has to be understood: how the lot drains, where the utilities come in, what the city will ask for. If you are working with a Custom Home Builder, this is the stretch where a mistake on paper becomes an expensive correction in concrete or lumber.

That is why the work begins with a consultation. We sit down with you, work out a construction plan and a delivery timeline that meets your needs, and put together a cost breakdown and quote. The estimate comes from the materials, the labor, the specialist subcontractors, the size and scope of the project and how long it will run. If you already have an architect's blueprint, bring it. If you do not, we work directly with drafters and architects and their technical plans.

How the build is run: permits, site management and inspections

A Home Builder who manages the site is mostly a scheduler. The Construction Contractor on a new house is coordinating the engineers, the concrete contractors, the carpenters, the plumbers, the electricians and the window companies, and the order they arrive in is what keeps the job moving. Our in-house crews and long-term subcontractors are all fully insured, and we organize them on one schedule so that each trade starts when the one before it has finished.

In almost every case we apply for the building permits for you, and we keep up with local building code changes so inspections are not a surprise. Residential Construction and commercial work follow the same discipline here. We update you regularly on progress, and if anything has to change from the original plan, it is discussed with you and waits for your complete approval before we proceed.

Chapter 03

Finishing details, updates throughout, and the walkthrough

The last stretch of a house is the one the owner lives with, so it gets the same attention as the structure. Trim, doors, fixtures, paint and final adjustments are checked against the plan as they go in, not left for the end. You hear from us at each stage of the job, not only when something needs a decision.

When the work is finished, you walk the building with us and we fix anything that is not right. Whether the project is a family house on a Stockton lot or a commercial building in Sacramento or Tracy, start with a conversation. A General Contractor you can reach is worth more than any brochure, so call (209) 205-5901 and we will set up a free consultation.

Who owns which stage

The structure of a new house, laid out as a schedule.

Engineers settle the structure before the concrete contractors pour. The carpenters carry the frame across the middle of the job, and the window companies close in the openings once it stands. Each diamond is a point where you approve something before we continue.

Your sign-off: the quote, the plans, any change to them, and the final walkthrough. The plumbers and electricians join in at rough-in on every new build.
