When you begin planning a construction project, you quickly see how many specialists the work needs, such as a flooring contractor, a cabinetry specialist, a plumber and an electrician. A general contractor hires and organizes all of those teams to complete your project. Fischer And Associates Urban Development has both an in-house team and a number of specialist subcontractors, all of whom have proven themselves to stand by our values of honest hard work and integrity.

As your general contractor, we perform a range of tasks. During the initial consultation and planning phase, we work with architects and blueprints to help you settle on the design and materials you want. During the building phase, we play two roles at once: skilled craftspeople on the job, and managers of the subcontractors.

Our estimates are calculated from the type, quality and quantity of materials required, the labor required to complete the project, the specialist subcontractors, the overall size and scope of the project, and its duration. With that information we draft an accurate quote that stays within your budget.

Yes. Every member of our team and every subcontractor we employ is fully insured. We take every precaution to limit your personal liability while we are on the job.

Yes. We are a licensed general contracting company, Contractor License Number 1104136, with a broad range of certifications.

It depends on the size and type of job. The simplest thing to do is to call us on (209) 205-5901 and speak to one of our experts. In almost every case, we apply for the proper building permits for you, which is one of the main benefits of hiring a general contractor. We also take care to stay updated on recent changes to local building code regulations, because it matters for our reputation, our licensing and your safety that everything we do is compliant with local guidelines.

It depends on the type of project. If you are planning a home addition or new construction, residential or commercial, that requires an architectural blueprint, it is best to get that organized first. We have plenty of experience working directly with drafters and architects, as well as with their technical plans. If your project does not require architectural plans, it is best to get us on the job right away. It is much easier and more efficient to see a project through from beginning to end than to start somewhere in the middle of someone else's work.

Give us a call and speak to an expert. Once we sit down with you to sort out the details and the construction schedule, we will be in a good place to work out the cost of general contracting for your job. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
